About the Oklahoma Leather Association (OkLA)
The Oklahoma Leather Association is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that exists to support, educate, and connect members of the leather community throughout Oklahoma. We focus on preserving leather history, sharing lived experience, and fostering responsible, informed participation in leather culture.
Our organization is committed to creating spaces that are welcoming, respectful, and grounded in mutual care. Education, mentorship, and community responsibility are central to everything we do.
Our Mission
We encourage leather persons to seek fact-based leather history and experience-based lifestyle knowledge. Through workshops, discussions, and outreach, we promote high-quality education that strengthens the community we serve.
Our Vision
We envision a safe and enduring space where leather persons can find camaraderie, share knowledge, and grow together. Our goal is to support the leather community now and into the future through thoughtful stewardship and engagement.
Community Commitment
Beyond education, OkLA supports direct community assistance and advocacy efforts that reflect the values of responsibility and care. We believe that strong communities are built through service, accountability, and mutual support.
